Practical place in beautiful Kaunas with a few caveats

Pros: The mini apartment has everything that is listed, and in working condition. Location is pretty good. Walkable from train/bus and Freedom Avenue and close to Akropolis, a mall in Kaunas. Old Town Hall is much farther out but still walkable. I worked online from there and the wifi worked smoothly. The tiny space is used excellently. Who would have taught you could fit in multiple closets, a working desk, a fan, and a kitchen in that space. There is washing machine as well in the bathroom (I didn't use it during my 3-day stay). I did not hear any neighbors noises during my stay.

Cons: The check-in is strictly 5pm. (Yes 17:00!!) I was able to leave my belongings earlier tho, so appreciated that.) It is on a sixth floor walk-up with no elevator. The bed is a single small top bunk bed and accessed by climbing since it is a bunk bed. (If you're tall or large, pay close attention to this part.) The bathroom had a foul smell the entire time (moldy?). It is tiny with no ventilation so not surprised. I happened to have planned my Kaunas trip around when Guns & Roses concert (yes, who knew!) was happening in July 2025 so accommodation was scarce and prices were surged for those days.
