Pros: Comfortable bedding and very clean. The upstairs is lovely and a good space to lounge around. Everything is easily accessible in the kitchen. The location itself is a little tricky with the hills but very quiet and peaceful with a shop just 8 minutes away.

Pros: It started out great, a very nice, clean place, with a great location, a real island of peace. We were very happy to have found this place.
Cons: Until a family with several children arrived. Through the paper-thin walls you could hear everything clearly from dawn, so our last day before departure was a nightmare. Please, especially with small children, avoid this place!

lovely, calm, relaxing
Pros: Kitchen was very clean and comfortable to use, dishwasher, coffee machine, everything you need for cooking. It was very quiet, we couldn't hear our neighbors. Nice and peaceful.
Cons: Not right in the center, but the place is beautiful, walking distance from center. So it was actually something we liked.

Pros: Very well equipped and comfortable studios with private bathroom and shared kitchen. 5min walk from river, bus services and St Peter and Paul Basilica, 7min walk from big supermarket. Pleasant easy walk to Uzupis, Three Crosses etc (about 15 min). We meandered on way to old town but it's certainly within walking distance. The kitchen living area is large and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone and some staple supplies. We were in a room directly off the kitchen and were not bothered by noise. Our room was comfortable and fairly spacious. Recommended.

Pros: Second time staying at the House of Sun, different rooms though. The place is very nice, lovely location. The design of rooms and bathrooms is beautiful, the beds are comfy and everything is super-clean. Loved the big common kitchen space and the sitting room in the upper floor.
Cons: One of the rooms (the one with the big window-wall) had a terrible odor in the bathroom. There must be some plumbing issue in that part of the house. The room our kids stayed in had no problem alike. House of Sun is like a little hotel - there are plenty of rooms, so keep in mind there will be other people staying. Some of them arrive late and may be making noise, like just talking loud in their room while you are trying to sleep (well, at midnight), and you will hear it very well. Also the situation with the promised free parking might be more of a lottery. If you arrive later than others you risk not getting it - there is a very limited number of free space near the garages in front of the hotel. I don't remember if parking was for free in the nearby streets - but most probably there's no parking at all, since they are just too narrow. There was parking for a fee nearby though.

Pros: It's exactly as in the pictures, the room was very well cleaned and the kitchen had everything one needs. Also the possibility to wash clothes is a plus.
Cons: My room was next to the kitchen and some guests didn't respect quiet hours (which is something that can always happen), so early in the morning as well as late in the evening can get noisy. Besides that, everything was great.

Pros: I liked that it had a cozy interior, very comfortable bed, quite a good location to walk to the center
Cons: I didn't like the smell in the bathroom, I couldn't get it to air out, I could smell the sewage, I didn't even want to go to the bathroom or toilet.

Lovely hotel, but far from ideal if arriving by car
Pros: Room was simple, but nicely arranged and very clean. The self-checkin was straightforward.
Cons: We found the parking really difficult. The area the property is in is very hilly with very narrow streets. We couldn't find any parking close to the property. There were some spaces, which were taken, further down the road, but arriving late at the property with small sleepy child was very difficult as he ended up being left in the room on his own, while I found somewhere to park. There is a row of garages across the road, but naturally they all have 'NO PARKING' signs. However, it looked like most people were taking the risk of parking in front of them due to no other parking nearby. I do not recommend this hotel, if one is arriving by car as I found the parking very stressful.
