Calm place for relaxation, yet with some distance to Visaginas

Pros: All good, for my short overnight stay, haven't had a chance to experience anything more. Arrived at midnight, departed early morning. Calm place, near the lake, forests all around.

Cons: Cannot comment anything really, since I've been here just for a quick night stay.

Pros: The accomodation was very good for its price! Even though it's a bit old school (former soviet sanatorium or children's camp), it's renovated. Rooms are clean (we had two rooms for 4 people). The only thing is that you should take your own cosmetics if you need more thany handsoap and 1 pack of gel/shampoo provided per person. There's also a shared kitchen with fridge and microwave on the floor.

Cons: Location seems to be not far from the city, but it takes more than 40 min to get to the center by foot. So if you're not ready to have lots of walking, ask for the number of taxy service. Yes, retro version, taxi apps do not work in Visaginas :D 6 eu per ride even in the night time (we took usual car for 4 people)

Pros: The accommodation is quite good for its price. The buildings are old fashioned, from Soviet times, but renovated. The room was totally clean! There's a shared kitchen if you wanna make smth to eat, as well as fridge with kettle in your own room.

Cons: Not very comfortable pillows

Perfect for visitors to the Ignalina plant who love lakes, forest and nature.

Pros: The location is absolutely stunning and the site is of huge historical importance with its connection to the nuclear plant. It was the original training centre and there is still a full size simulator room of the power plant's reactor control room. Do a tour with WildLit. The best! The staff at the Visagino Parkas were lovely.

Cons: We loved everything but there was no wifi. I could see however that there were units awaiting to be fitted so I'm sure that will be sorted. It was only in our block.

Great place

Pros: I liked the calm and quiet environment. I could come stay there again whenever I visit Visaginas again.

Cons: Nothing much I didn't like.

Nice clean, cozy rooms for a peaceful holidays in the nature, close to a beautiful forest and lake.

Pros: The rooms are very clean and cozy. Just behind the property there is access to the forest and the lake. Staff is nice and efficient.

Cons: The location is good for being in the nature, but a little bit far from the city

Calm, green, clean and budget-friendly

Pros: We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us the room and all equipment as well as the common kitchen and a safe storage for our bicycles. The place has a special history as a recreational site for IAE staff and their families, it's a bit nostalgic and not top modern. But everything is very clean and the value for money is more than good

Cons: It's a bit outside of the city and you need either a bicycle or a car. But the area is very calm and beautiful, within a woodland and with its very own sea shore.
