Perfect place to rest

Pros: Everything! Great and quiet place but with all the facilities. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful home itself. The city is a 15-minute drive away. A really charming place for a good rest alone or with family. The host is amazing and very responsive. I will return again for sure.

Pros: Graži vieta, gražus, gražiai ir gerai įrengtas namas, kuriame yra visko ko tik gali prireikti gerai leidžiant laiką. Tai visada malonu. Vienas geriausių būstų, kuriuos teko užsisakinėti per booking. Drąsiai rekomenduoju.

Pros: Viskas nuostabu! Ramybė, jaukumas, šeimininkų bendravimas. Galima rasti viską ko reikia viešnagei.

Pros: Felt like home, very modern and retro at the same time. Good kitchen, comfortable beds, amazing outside kitchen too, lots of space, quiet and calm.

Probably the best rustic Lithuanian experience so far

Pros: Tranquillity squared. The cottage sits on the outskirts of the village, within 10-20 minutes of walking distance to the Stelmuze oak and two lakes, less than a kilometre from Lithuanian-Latvian border. The place is incredibly quiet: no traffic, no trains or planes in the vicinity, no shouts or loud music, just storks, cranes and herons + roedeer roaming freely surrounding meadows and forests. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped and has a spirit of a small 19th century manor. Rustic authenticity, subtle style and sensible improvements on comfort to be found all across the estate. Two amazing art spots - Rothko Museum in Daugavpils (Latvia) and Sauka Gallery in Zarasai (Lithuania) - are located respectably within 30 and 10 km. Generous woods (mushroom and berries) and dozens of swimmable/fishable lakes surround the area. All in all, can hardly imagine another place to recommend more than this. Definitely coming back for more!

Cons: Nothing to do with the property itself, but if you're staying here during 'warm' season, please make sure you're well equipped with insect repellents. Property provides some useful sprays and proper window netting saving from any blood-suckers inside the cottage, yet if you plan to get around a lot, you might consider bringing more protective measures. Not a complain really, just a suggestion for fellow travellers.

Pros: Erdvus, naujai, originaliai ir funkcionaliai įrengtas namelis gamtos apsuptyje. Labai įdomus interjero sprendimas - daug detalių labai nustebino ir nudžiugino :) - su meile viskas įrengta - praturtinantis patyrimas. Yra absoliučiai visi prietaisai moderniam gyvenimui. Nepriekaištingai švaru. Lengvas patekimas. Šeimininkai pasirūpino palikti daug visokios info. regiono tyrinėjimui. Sodyba kraštinė. Rami kaimynystė. Gražiai ir jaukiai įrengta vieta lauke kepsniams kepti ir pasisėdėjimui. Nemažas laukinis sodas, kiemas. Tylu, ramu. Žiogai ir žvaigždės. Šeimininkai siūlė pasiirstyti valtimi ežere (šiek tiek nutolęs) - nepasinaudojome šia galimybe, bet gal kitą kartą. Puikus variantas šeimos arba draugų grupelės viešnagei.

Pros: Puikiai sutvarkytas erdvus namas su nuostabia lauko poilsio zona. Labai rami vieta. Pasirūpinta svečiais, palikta daug žaidimų, knygų. Namo interjeras labai patiko. :)
