Tokyo Vibes - Private Sleeping Pods Hostel

Pros: Great value for money! You get a private room with basic kitchen amenities at the price of a hostel bed. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk to public transport, with good connections to both the city centre and the airport. Very supportive staff, the supermarket is quite nearby. Check-in was easy even at night. safe for solo female travellers

Cons: The room heater could not be controlled individually, as it is part of the central heating. Personally, I prefer sleeping without a heater. Sometimes, I had to ask people to keep quiet even after 11 PM, and some nights there were washing machines/hair dryers running past 10 PM. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing noise-cancelling earplugs and an eye mask for better comfort. Other than that, everything was good!

Cons: Would be better if the lockers were larger and in the actual dorm rooms, but that's just my personal preference. This did not impact my stay in any way.

Pros: Clear informations on arrival The studio was as described and confortable The other persons in the hostel were nice Walking distance from city center ( 30-40 minutes)

Pros: Private space, although the room was shared with other people, my bed and desk was isolated from others. The staff was friendly and helpful. It wasn't hard to secure a parking spot. Safe area, peaceful and quiet.

Cons: The toilet seat is broken and the staff didn't take measures to repair it, the pipes leak water, there is no stove to cook on, it was too warm at night

Pros: The concept by itself. A small like japan-style sleeping pod but in a way of a place with bed, table and chair? Brilliant absolutely brilliant. The kitchen was small and everything was in japanesse style. Very lovely.

Better than expected.

Pros: Clean showers and toilets. Not too far from the center, and the bus stop is really right by the house.

Cons: Personally, I’m not a picky traveler, everything was fine for me. But I’d like to give a heads-up for others. It’s a bit unsettling that the hostel doesn’t have a reception. Let’s be realistic, a lot in hostels depends on luck. The people staying there can be quite diverse, and no one checks documents here. So, theoretically, if you have any issues with someone at night, you might end up feeling uneasy. If you’re a young woman and tend to worry about such things, just keep that in mind. Near the Maxima store, there were also some rude Russian-speaking people, the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant. There’s a big park nearby, and there aren’t many people around. So, if such things scare you, just consider it for your peace of mind. The floor and beds in the room creak loudly, and there are large gaps in the ceiling through which light from the neighboring room shines into yours. And it’s not just a little bit it’s enough to read books by it. This can be disturbing when trying to sleep. If these issues were fixed, it would be a very good hostel with a nice level of privacy!

Pros: nice, neat and with cool privacy for a hostel. the cleaning boys were so sweet. lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. also its cool to have your own little desk in a hostel!!! and girls only room. it was wonderful

Cons: ofc as is a shared room, you can hear everything your roommates are doing, but at least you can't see anyone :)

Pros: Private space, a little table in the room, area is very quiet and there's a supermarket juz outside the hostel and 10mins bus to city, great location! The room are clean also.

Amazing stay

Pros: The privacy is exceptional. I had to work a couple of days and it was brilliant to have a desk and my own space. I also enjoyed the walk into town; it’s nice to get those extra steps in and was a safe and pleasant walk.
