Excellent base to explore Kaunas

Pros: Lovely clean apartment, spacious, modern, excellent use of space, bed comfy. Excellent check in instructions and map from owner before we arrived. Easy to get to from airport. You can walk down into the New Town area via steps, which is a short cut, then the Old Town is about 1.5 miles away, a half hour walk or very cheap taxi ride. It was lovely being able to walk on the roof, unfortunately it was too cloudy to see a proper sunset, but if you are lucky with the clouds then the sunset would be stunning.

Pros: Warm and clean flat in convenient location. Has everything one needs.

Cons: Nothing. Stayed in this place multiple times - never had any issues.

Very pleasant, would come back again without hesitation.

Pros: Prime location, on the top of a huge natural amphitheater, from where one can overview old Kaunas below. Renovated loft studio, probably converted from an old radio plant, at a very good standard. Quiet in the evenings and nights. Clear arrival/departure instructions are rules of the house.

Cons: Reconstruction building works are ongoing in the inner yard of a building, some noise from a building site during the day time (weekdays). Slightly stressful, when the key box doesn’t open seamlessly, but manageable after a few attempts.

Pros: The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The building has a nice rooftop terrace. The apartment is beautiful, with nice furniture and decoration. For a short stay, it has everything you need. The location is in between the train/bus station and the city center. Walking to the city center is +/- 15 minutes downhill.

Cons: The apartment is on top of the hill, so be prepared to exercise a bit if you walk back from the city center. Also, if you plan to cook and eat in for dinner, be aware that there is no dining table or chairs, so you have to eat on the couch.

Pros: Very close to the city centre and yet quiet nights. Nice little apartment with everything necessary available. The area of the bed stays very warm but the very well working air conditioning can cool it down pretty quickly.

Pros: Nice and convenient apartment where one finds everything one needs. Walking distance to the city centre, with a superb view and a great stay at the rooftop terrace. Hosts are speedy and reactive. We definitely recommend.

Perfect loft flat for two travellers!

Pros: The flat was a nice loft, view to construction site though. Modern, tasty deco, good selection of kitchen equipment. Some affordable priced drinks on offer. Roof top terrace was a bonus. Staff were extraordinarily helpful: TV doesn’t have regular channels, however we got on request a TV box to watch basketball😊 Plus staff sent home my trousers that I had forgotten in the wardrobe.

Cons: Some minor remarks only, nothing to ruin our great stay! The corridor was a little messy (wasn’t cleaned over the 3-night stay and was dirty to begin with). The right entrance door was tricky to locate. Also, it was hot and it was a sweaty uphill to get to the place.

Pros: Everything was great. I can definitely recommend :)

We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great, the apartment was clean and well stocked. The rooftop was superb!
