Best place to stay in kaunas

Pros: Perfect place to stay , Comfortable, perfect location,

Cheap, clean room

Pros: Great location on the main pedestrian ave in Kaunas and close to everything. 30-minute walk from train station. Room was nice enough. A good value for a short stay.

Cons: Only downside is in the winter it's quite drafty and chilly even inside.

Simple Cosy Double Room in A Great Location for the Reasonable Price

Pros: The double room has the windows to the main street in Kaunas - Liberty Avenue. The bus stop is very close. The room was pretty spacious and simple. There is a big shared kitchen for all inhabitants. Simple late check-in. Check-out was just leave the keys. I like the simplicity and rationality. The owner always answers to the requests. Next to the hostel there is a cosy coffee to have a breakfast, so, the hostel does not need to provide it. For the travellers who spend more time outside or just want to sleep in the clean room - the perfect place. Sometimes you can pay a lot for a shiny hotel but you spend most your visit outside what is not rational.

Cons: The bed was spacious but a bit too soft for the back. No elevator, only stairs to climb with the heavy luggages. A private bathroom or the room update would be a bonus but it is better to leave the low price than an expensive upgrade.

Great central location

Pros: Great location on the main street - Laisvės al. As I was staying midweek, I didn't find it too noisy but could possibly be a lot of noise from the street if staying at the weekend. Facilities were OK for what I needed which was just a place to sleep and wash, etc. Price was very reasonable given the location, etc. Not luxurious by any means but perfectly suitable for a few nights away.

Cons: The signage is hard to spot on the door so I didn't find it immediately despite Google Maps leading me there. I also hadn't been sent any check-in info beforehand and as there's no staff on site, this took a little bit of time. There is a telephone number provided and the person I was talking to was helpful and talked me through everything so didn't cause much of a delay. Looking at my booking, I upgraded to a Family room but was given a double room. This didn't matter to me as it only ended up being me staying here (initially I thought I might have an extra person or two coming and staying with me and would've amended the booking accordingly). The price difference was small but I still would've expected to be given the room I had paid for. The bathroom ran out of toilet paper during my stay so perhaps it is wise for the property owners to ensure that sufficient toilet paper is supplied for all guests each day.

Perfect stay in Kaunas

Pros: Location is excellent, great kitchen facilities and plenty of bathrooms to be shared between rooms. Overall great accommodation

Pros: The best location in the heart of city. An apartment in historical house renovated back in the XX c. The very hostel is more or less fresh repaired. Good occasions for eating and entertainment around.

Cons: No complaints or advices. You are on the right way, guys.

Pros: Location! And the bed was super comfy too! The street was a bit loud, but amazing quality for the price
