Laisves Avenue Hostel "Easy Kaunas"

Very central, very basic, very clean place to stay.

Pros: The location was great, the central avenue, but away from the main noise, easy to find. The best thing was the check-in check-out times, very reasonable and better then the rest of Kaunas. The place was clean, there was everything you need, the kitchen looked neat. The card system to enter was very comfy. I had a good rest, the place was unexpectedly quiet. It was a good stay.

Cons: There was no soundproofing whatsoever, my bed was right next to a wall, an right on the other side of the wall there was a toilet. You can hear people peeing 😂 I found it funny, and luckily my neighbors were reasonable. But in some cases this could be an issue. As for the price, for a single for over 30€ at the hostel, I would expect a bit more comfort, a bigger bed or at least a newer carpet. Also the smell was overwhelming, not a bad smell, but the freshener was on a full blast, a bit too much in winter when you wouldn’t want to open the window.

Pros: The location is great, easy to reach from the airport, almost door to door. It's convenient, meets basic needs for the stay, clean, comfortable room. Bathrooms were just outside the room. We didn't stay long enough to use kitchen or launderette facilities, but it seemed fine and one should find everything they need. Once you are there, you are in walking distance to shops, coffee shops and both stations as well as the park for a calm and relaxation.

Cons: Our room was right in front of the street light and there were no blinds nor blackout curtains, so it wasn't easy to fell asleep. On the other hand, it was snowing, so had a picturesque visual :) That room really needs proper curtains, 'cause that ballerina's skirt material does absolutely nothing for the room.

Pros: Great location. A pedestrian alley is nearby. The airport bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The Akropolis shopping center is a 10-15-minute walk away. The triple room is comfortable and clean.

Cons: Communication with the owner is lengthy. Your comfort depends greatly on your neighbors. I encountered loud noise from people, which was annoying.

Pros: We stayed here after a long and difficult travel and it’s a great option for a company. There are 3 shower rooms for 7 rooms, we have booked 5 of them and have no problem with having a shower. Each person has their own bed so that’s great for such a company.

The night was relatively quiet, except for one crazy person who made himself coffee at 1 am :)

Pros: The location is great, the park is close by and the city center is not far away. The kitchen had everything you need.

Cons: Too many messages arrived before arriving at the accommodation. Registration was required and links were sent that did not open.

Pros: We enjoyed our short stay at Laisvės Avenue Hostel. We booked a room for three people, which was quite spacious and featured a wardrobe, a table, and a TV. The bathroom and toilet were located next to the room, and we experienced no problems. We believe it’s definitely a good value for the price, and next time we are in Kaunas, we will choose this place to stay. By the way, its location is the best; in the morning, we found a nice place to have breakfast not far from the hostel. Highly recommended!

Cons: WiFi didn’t work properly, but I believe that’s because our room was on the second floor.
